The rose garden was still in full bloom at Sorosis Park on top of the hill in town so I decided to stop and get a few shots. I really like the one that I am posting, the color is so rich and vibrant. It was quite a gray day and the wind was howling. A lot has been happening and not a lot of time has been left for taking photographs. I did manage to sneak in a few shots while visitng Astoria over the weekend. The weather was not particularly helpful being mostly grey and overcast. I happen to get this shot, right by the hotel we stayed at, farily early in the morning before the clouds covered the entire sky. This was my frist time trying to capture fireworks and I think I got some fairly interesting shots. I like the effect I got in this shot of the ground bloom flower circling and changing colors.
